Dream Sports Tours,Open Inbound Division By End of 09,Offers Golf Packages To Jaypee Greens In Noida

Dream Sports Tours, a division of Bangalore-based Sportz Village is keen to open an inbound division by the end of 2009 to bring international sporting events to India. The company, which offers golf packages to Jaypee Greens in Noida and Kremer Golf in Istanbul, incentive packages, relationship building activities, inter-corporate sports events, imparts training to employees on basics of a particular game has tied up for major sporting events across the globe.

The company has got the deal for organising the hospitality part for F1 Grand Prix in Malaysia in April 2008, F1 Grand Prix in Singapore in 2008, Wimbledon 2008, Beijing Olympic Games 2008 and FIFA World Cup in South Africa in 2010. The company will take care of the entire package right from ticketing, accommodation, organising tickets for the match and liasoning. It is also pitching for Indian Cricket League (ICL) and EURO 2008. They enter into a contract with the organisers where they make a commitment on the number of tickets to be sold.

Apart from this it plans to introduce more sports tours such as summer camps, adventure camps to places like Rishikesh and night trekking camps for children. These programmes will range from five days to a week for children in the age group of eight to 16 years. The packages range from Rs 10,000 to Rs 25,000 per head. Adventure camps will include activities such as river rafting, mountaineering, rappelling and trekking. "Schools these days are willing to organise such camps for children. They are also willing to send talented children abroad for training in their favourite sport," informed Salim Bharmal, Business Head, Dream Sports Tours. The company already has a Manchester United Soccer School Programme, which is held during Easter and summer holidays. Children passionate about the game are sent to the school for training. If they do very well they are retained and the school takes care of their food, accommodation and all the other requirements.
